Billy Can Can - First Look

August 7, 2020

Billy Can Can, the first project from restaurateur Tristan Simon’s hospitality group Rebees, will officially open its doors in Victory Park this week.

The restaurant occupies a 4,800 square foot space at 2386 Victory Park Lane, and was designed to evoke a 19th-century saloon with decidedly more upscale fare. Industrial touches, like an African mahogany communal dining table with chairs to match, pair with rustic wood floors and vintage lighting fixtures to drive home the vibe.

Its dining room is bright, but the lounge at Billy Can Can is brooding and masculine, with taxidermied animals and old photographs carried throughout the space. Drinkers can belly up to a stunning 40-foot, 22-seat bar designed by Dallas’ own Kate Murphy and made from pecan wood. The back bar, adorned with vintage signs and bottles of booze, was built on the premises from mahogany, pine, maple, and red oak.
